Her dad was a Judge in Indianapolis and not much is said about her mother, Marietta, other than being the daughter of Julia Louisa Dumont. Elizabeth married William A. She was buried in Muncie.

The Raising of the Sons of Wooley - Wikipedia Wikipedia - The Raising of the Sons of Wooley I wanted to post a clue related to Valentines Day ... you know, for all those romantics out there. So the search began from Switzerland County's list of authors and quickly the short story of Unoffically came up. Unoffically was part of the larger collection of stories entitled The Raising of the Sons of Wooley.

The story starts out with a father touting all the reasons why his daughter should marry this guy named Arthur Tristam, a man of great respect and looks. His daughter, Bertha (sorry, I snickered a little), is having none of it and says, "He has your ear, but he never will have my heart!". See Bertha was in love with the returning solder named Adrien Vernon, who was scarred and walking with crutches.

Dad protested so much and threatened to not allow Mr. Vernon into their home. One escalation leads to another and she finds herself ... you really should read the story. :)

A _____ of choice, of compatibility, a _____ of soul-the only _____ there ought ever to be, a _____ of love! Clue #9 of Dufour's Keys The clue was taken from a quote from the story, "A Union of choice, of compatibility, a union of soul-the only union there ought ever to be, a union of love!" I kind of punted a little bit with the location of the key. It simply was placed on a Union Street sign.

Was she the heir to a $3,000,000 fortune?
